The fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria will be intensified during the next three years thanks to funding of US 12.9 billion dollars.
At the just concluded 5th Replenishment Conference in Canada, donors including the private sector and implementing countries pledged US12.9 Billion to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the next three years.
Minister of Health and Social Security in Grenada Nickolas Steele, said he is heartened by the extraordinary global commitment toward ending the three epidemics. The Caribbean is set to benefit tremendously from this funding given that is the second most affected region as it relates to HIV/AIDS.
