Police have made progress in the St Marys’ College burglary investigation. Three men have been arrested and one laptop belonging to the St Mary’s College has also been recovered. Police say as investigations continue, charges are expected to be laid. Further, investigations may also result in possible charges in connection with the break in and robbery at the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School, weeks ago. The Police Force and the Ministry of Education are currently working very closely to put a stop to the break ins at schools on the island. Already, the Education Minister says CCTV cameras and increased police patrols are being discussed, along with more sensitive measures which for security reasons, will not be disclosed to the general public.
