The Government of Saint Lucia continues its informative and consultative sessions with the Vieux Fort Community on the Pearl of the Caribbean Project.
Presentations are expected to be delivered by Invest Saint Lucia and Equine Specialists on Wednesday 1st February at the Vieux Fort Primary school. Following which the audience is invited to ask questions. The Office of the Prime Minister has expressed concern about fear mongering from the opposition in connection with the project. The government says scare tactics have caused people to be concerned about whether they will be displaced, when the only part of the mega project that is set in stone is the race track which does not involve anyone being displaced.
