Minister of Social Justice, Lenard Spider Montoute, says the NICE program was one more attempt to create what many describe as job for the boys.
He says a staggering 90 percent of NICE employees were SLP supporters, claiming that the program was almost exclusive to people who supported the SLP.
Meanwhile the SLP has vowed to maintain its opposition to the government’s move to discontinue the automatic renewal of NICE contracts. Pierre says the government should only do this when it has a plan of action that ensures that unemployment does not increase.
