The marine police says authorities in St Vincent have asked that the relatives of the three men be located to arrange for them to travel back to Saint Lucia. On Thursday December 1st, St Lucia’s Marine Police received a report from the St Vincent Coast Guard that three St Lucians on a boat named ‘Wave Dancer’ called to indicate engine problems. It was later reported that there were actually four persons. On Saturday, December 3rd, the St Vincent Coast Guard informed the Marine Unit that the vessel had been found by a sailing yacht. It was partly submerged with three persons near it. Three men – Hieron Estaphane, Livorn Toussaint and Donovan Hunte – all of Vieux Fort – were rescued and transferred to a St Vincent Coast Guard vessel and taken to a hospital for treatment. The fourth person – Hayes Lawrence – is missing.
