Former Broadcast Minister, Dr James Fletcher, says shutting down Radio St Lucia would be a travesty to St Lucia’s audio history. Fletcher says the wealth of music and recordings of national and cultural events makes it a treasure for the country. Despite a pronouncement by the government, Dr Fletcher advocates any other course of action. He says it is quite unfortunate; the former SLP administration was unable to follow through with intentions to merge RSL and NTN.
