On Tuesday 22nd at 12am an earthquake occurred south west of Barbados.It was a magnitude of 4.2 and occurred at a depth of 16km. On Monday 21st at 8:02pm local time, an earthquake occurred south east of Grenada at a magnitude of 4.1 and depth of 10km. Meanwhile, Trinidad and Tobago was rattled by a 5.0 magnitude earthquake on Sunday night.  The Caribbean continues to be warned to brace for a major earthquake- one which scientists say is long overdue. The Caribbean has not experienced a major earthquake in about 200 years. The Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies is warning the region to “move expeditiously” towards building resilience amid predictions the Caribbean could be hit with an earthquake of magnitude 8.0 or greater.
