Sources within the government confirm that former Magistrate, Stephen Julien, will replace attorney Kim St Rose as Attorney General. St Rose served her last day as AG, on Friday 14th October.
She was the new administration’s inherited AG and directly involved in two cases involving the island’s prime minister. She has been transferred to make way for the new administrations’ pick, in the person of Stephen Julien – who served as the Consul General in Canada, under the last UWP Administration. He is a former Chairman of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission and former Chairman of the Saint Lucia National Lotteries. He was most recently serving as a Magistrate, but sources say he has reportedly resigned to take up the post of Attorney General.
