Infrastructure Minister, Stephenson King says while he understands the anxiety and anger of members of the public who are dealing with bad roads, he says there is little room for his ministry to maneuver.The Minister says while there is an urgent need to address the island’s Infrastructure, he inherited very little resources to do so. He blames the former government for lack of foresight and an inadequate allocation of 2 million dollars for reconstruction and rehabilitation.

He says the challenges for his ministry were exacerbated by the passage of the then Tropical storm named Mathew.

Former Infrastructure Minister, Phillip J Pierre rose in the House, to request that Minister King’s presentation be made a document of eth house, stating that it warranted perusal by the opposition. Minister King responded that he would oblige.
