Five hundred hotel workers employed with Sugar Beach Hotel will benefit from a new industrial agreement signed between the Hotel and the National Workers Union. The new industrial accord which will run for a period of 3 years provides the following regulatory framework: Overtime, Paternity Leave, Laundry Allowance, Annual Bonus, Call Out and Call Back Allowances. Workers will also have the salaries adjusted upwardly and receive the relevant retroactive payments. Sugar Beach which operates in Soufriere has enjoyed a 12 year relationship with the National Workers Union.
