Four men from St. Lucia who were picked up by a cruise ship after they were allegedly stranded at sea for several days, are back on island but are now being investigated by the police. The men reportedly left St. Lucia on Wednesday, March 8 for a fishing expedition. However, when they did not return home at a certain time and attempts to communicate with them were unsuccessful, relatives contacted police who in turn requested regional assistance to locate the men. The men were picked up by a Celebrity cruise ship and taken to Barbados. They arrived in St. Lucia on Tuesday on board the Celebrity Eclipse cruise ship. They were taken to the Police Marine Unit where statements were taken.
