Thursday was a day of what seemed to be a lack of interest shown by the Members of Parliament. From the start of the day to the end of day – things simply did not go as planned. After a late – by afternoon, at about 4pm, the House was yet again in disarray. The Speaker called upon members to make contributions following the contribution of the Soufriere MP. No one accepted the call and the Prime Minister was forced to put forward a motion to adjourn the House for 10 minutesas they tried to figure out how to proceed. Following the 10 minutes break, the Speaker had to once again criticise members for what she described as their unbecoming behaviour. In the end, Member for Micoud North, Dr Gale Rigobert, agreed to make her contribution, even though she was scheduled to speak on Friday. Following the contribution of Guy Joseph the Prime Minister put forward a motion to suspend the debate not to Friday, but until June 20th.
