Noted scholar Dr Augustin Charles passed away on Sunday. Dr Charles was an entrepreneur who launched the popular Dot Com sounds in Choiseul. He was a former School Principal at St Mary’s College and also previously served as a science, mathematics information technology and physics teacher and head of the Science Department at Choiseul Secondary School. Dr Charles was also a well known blogger behind “Choiseul Powerhouse”. Dr. Charles who was affectionately known as “King Bolo” also served as Deputy Permanent Secretary in both the Ministry of Communications and Works and the Ministry of Social Transformation. Many throughout his community and further beyond, expressed sympathy and appreciation for the vast contribution of Dr Charles.
