A woman diagnosed with cancer drank a corrosive substance on Monday.
Her 21 year old daughter discovered her sitting in her balcony after she ingested the poison – “Gramaxone”. The daughter summoned emergency responders to the hoe in Deglos. Speaking to the media, the daughter said the family had been facing very tough financial times.
The breadwinner, the young lady’s father died last year. The 21 year old says she has been unable to gain employment and her mother, she says, has been having a tough time with the cancer diagnosis and the lack of money. The young woman broke into tears after telling the media that doctors said her mother was likely to not survive. She told young people to cherish their mothers while they can. Now, news reaching us this morning indicates that the 43 year old woman died last night. She has been identified as Cecilia Daniel Marshall.
