Officials of Guyana and Trinidad Mutual Group of Companies (GTM) have broke ground in Castries, on the construction of a new state-of-the-art multi-million divisional headquarters. The company says it decided that Saint Lucia was the best place to grow and expand in the Eastern Caribbean. According to GTM, the construction phase will run for twelve months and will employ scores of Saint Lucian workers at all levels. The new Choc-Estate Eastern Caribbean divisional headquarters is being constructed on 54,000 square feet of land. The project was awarded to a local contractor as GTM outs the deepening of its roots in the St Lucian economy.
