Minister for Home Affairs, Justice and National Security, Hermangild Francis, says his Ministry’s intention to make great strides to enhance security and the rule of law, are being hampered by the current financial situation. Minister Francis, says the harsh reality is that the island’s fiscal situation does not allow the government to do some of the things that it needs to. But he assures that his ministry cannot lie down and play dead. He vowed that the ministry will fight as hard as possible to do the things which are expected to enhance security and justice in Saint Lucia. He says he will make the most of whatever limited resources are available.
