In Trinidad – TWO men have been arrested in the case where a woman was abducted, robbed and raped in an attack so brutal that she ended up having to seek treatment at hospital for multiple injuries.
The suspects – both aged 24 –were arrested in Woodland, La Romaine. Police are searching for a third man involved in the assault of the woman who was on her way home from work when she got into a vehicle with men who turned out to be predators. According to police the 26 year old woman the victim boarded a taxi in San Fernando around 8 p.m. Three men were seated in the vehicle, and during the journey one of them pointed a firearm at her. The victim was robbed of $300, raped and left by the roadside. She sought the assistance of residents and they took her to a nearby police station and then to hospital.
