Peter Thomas has been charged with Capital Murder of Rose Ann Raymond. A charge of theft was preferred against Thomas in January. The Guyanese national worked as a handy man and was known to the victim. The 76 year old woman was found battered and lifeless inside her home at Marisule, where she lived alone. Thomas was seen with her vehicle on the day of her death, leading to a charge of theft. Police have now been able to prefer the charge of Capital murder. Thomas made a court appearance on Wednesday and has been remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
