An Anse La Raye man is receiving professional psychological help after attempting suicide.The man was initially taken into police custody. As Ann Joseph of the Police Press Relations Office reports, under the Laws of Saint Lucia, attempting suicide is an indictable offense. The man was reportedly in a state of distress due to an ongoing domestic issue. He reportedly threatened to set himself ablaze. The police were then called to the scene.
