About seventy (70) clerical, technical and non-managerial workers employed with the Bank of Nova Scotia concluded their participation in a Secret Ballot Poll. About sixty (60) workers voted in favour of having their general conditions of employment improved and protected by the National Workers Union (NWU). The NWU already represents workers in eight (8) companies operating within the financial services sector. The National Workers Union will await a Certificate of Representation from the Labour Commissioner. The poll was held at Bank OF Nova Scotia’s three (3) operational units in Rodney Bay, Castries and Vieux Fort.
